We are looking forward to another year of Spring hockey. This year our Spring season will kickoff the week of Monday, April 1, 2024 & the last practice will be Thursday, May 16, 2024.

The Spring Season is great opportunity for players to continue their development during the off-season with the same staff they've become accustomed too during the season. It's also an opportunity for players from outside the organization to tryout for the first time and see if it's something they would like to do next Winter Season as well. The coaching and training that participants will receive in the spring season will provide a glimpse of our Madison Capitols AAA program.

Tryouts for our 8u - 13u teams ('16s - '11s) will be held the week of Monday, March 11, 2024. Specific dates and times are listed below. 

Tryouts for our Boy's Only, 14u - 16u  teams ('10s - '08s) will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 & Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Specific dates and times listed below.

Tryouts for our Girl's Only teams, 12u - 19u teams ('14s - '05s) will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 & Thursday, March 21, 2024. Specific dates and times are listed below

Tryout Fee - $115.00

Tryout Fee Includes

- Two, 1hr 10min on-ice sessions.

- Payment required to be paid in full, in order to register for tryouts.

- Each participant will receive a numbered jersey at tryout check-in, located in the main lobby. They will only need to check-in once in order to receive their jersey. Once they've received their specific jersey, they'll need to wear the same jersey (& number) for both sessions. At the conclusion of tryouts the jersey will be theirs to keep.

Girl's Only u12 & u14 Teams :

•  First practice on April 2, 2024. Last Practice on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Seven weeks total.
• Two practices each week, 1 hour 20 mins each. 
• Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• $875.00
• 2  Event Weekends (w/ a showcase / tournament / 3 or more games on a weekend) 

Girl's Only u16 & u19 Teams :

• First practice on Monday, April 2, 2024.
• Last practice on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
• Two practices each week, 1 hour 20 mins each.
• Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• $805.00
• 1 Event Weekend (w/ a showcase, tournament or at least 3 games).

Boy's Only 14u - 16u & 10u - 13u Teams:

• Practices starting the week of Monday, April 1, 2024.
• Practices ending the week of Monday, May 13, 2024.
• Two practices each week, 1 hour 20 mins each.
• $925.00
• Off-ice strength training sessions
• 3  Event Weekends (w/ a showcase, tournament or at least 3 games). 

Off-Ice Sessions Per Week, Listed By Group:

• 13u - 11u & Girl's Only 12u; One Session Each Week.
• Boy's Only 14u - 16u; Two Sessions Each Week. 
• Girl's Only 14u - 19u; Two Sessions Each Week.

8u Team:

• The 8u team will made up of 2016 birth years and younger.
• 6 weeks total. 
• Two 1 hour 10 minute practices each week on Mondays & Thursdays
• Practices will start on Monday, April 1, 2024
• Practices will end on Thursday, May 9, 2024 
• Two Tournaments; Sniper's Spring Kick-off (April 12-14,2024), & Chi-Town Shuffle (April 19-21, 2024)
• No off-ice workouts or training sessions
• 8u cost per skater - $750.00
• There may be an opportunity for some players to be offered a "practice only" spot. Cost of "practice only" skater is $575.00. Coaches decision if any spots are offered. If offering coach will speak directly to parents.

9u Team:

• The 9u team will be made up of mostly 2015 birth years with some 2016 exceptions.
• 7 weeks total
• Two, 1 hour 10 minute practices each week, on Monday's & Wednesday's 
• Practices start on Monday, April 1, 2024
• Practices end on Wednesday, May 15, 2024
• Three tournaments; Sniper's Spring Kick-off (April 12-14,2024), Chi-Town Shuffle (April 19-21, 2024), & Sniper's Spring Finale (May 10-12, 2024)
• No off-ice workouts or training sessions
• 9u cost per player $875.00
• There may be an opportunity for some players to be offered a "practice only" spot. Cost of "practice only" skater is $575.00. Coaches decision if any spots are offered. If offering coach will speak directly to parents.
